This designation is reserved for individuals, professions, organizations, and service groups whose contributions reflect the character, sacrifice, and leadership that have shaped the United States as it approaches its 250th anniversary.

Being named a Founding 250 Honoree signifies more than recognition—it establishes a lasting place in a national historical record created at a defining moment in American history.

Founding 250 Honorees are:

• Among the earliest entries in the permanent archive
• Recognized during the historic America 250 era

Each Founding 250 recognition is curated with archival intent, ensuring accuracy, dignity, and long-term historical value.

 The Founding 250 designation is limited in number and time frame. Once the initial 250 recognition's are established, the designation will close, becoming a fixed chapter in the archive’s history.
